This Privacy Policy explains how Tejan Pandit ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Age Calculator mobile application (the "Application").
1. Information We Collect
The Application does not collect personal information, device information, usage information, or other personal data.
You may enter a Date of Birth and a "Calculate Age On" date. These dates are used only to perform the requested age calculation on your device. They are not sent to our servers or transmitted over the Internet by the Application.
2. How Information Is Used
The dates you enter are used locally to calculate your age in years, months, and days, as well as related statistics such as total months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, and seconds. The Application may also calculate your next birthday, zodiac sign, day of birth, and birthday weekday.
3. Data Storage
The Application does not persist your Date of Birth, calculation date, or calculated results in a database, file, external storage, or server.
During use, these values may exist temporarily in the device's application memory so that the current screen can be maintained, including during configuration changes such as screen rotation. This information is not intentionally transmitted to us.
4. Accounts and Login
The Application does not require registration, an account, login, or authentication.
5. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising
The current version of the Application does not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, Advertising ID, or tracking technologies.
The Application does not display third-party advertisements and does not use advertising personalization or cross-app tracking.
6. Permissions
The Application does not request device permissions. It does not require access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, phone information, notifications, or other protected device data for its core functionality.
7. Third-Party Services
The core functionality of the Application does not use third-party services to collect or process your calculator data. The Application does not use Firebase, Google Analytics, Crashlytics, AdMob, Gemini, or other third-party data collection SDKs.
The Application may open an external service only when you explicitly choose an applicable action. For example, "Rate App" can open Google Play, and "Share App" or "Share Result" can open the Android system share sheet. Those external services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
8. Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
If you voluntarily use the Share App or Share Result feature, Android may provide the information you selected to an application or service that you choose through the system share sheet. This action is initiated by you and is subject to the privacy practices of the receiving application or service.
9. Children's Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. Because the core calculator does not require an account or personal information, no personal information is required to use its core functionality.
10. Data Security
The Application processes calculator information locally on your device and does not transmit it to our servers. We do not maintain a server-side database containing calculator entries.
11. Data Deletion
The Application does not maintain server-side personal data that requires deletion. The Clear button can be used to reset the current calculator inputs and results. Locally retained application data, if any, can also be removed through the Android device's application settings or by uninstalling the Application.
12. External Links
The Application may open Google Play when you choose to rate the Application and may open the Android system share sheet when you choose to share the Application or a calculation result. External services may collect or process information according to their own policies. We do not control the privacy practices of those services.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Application or our privacy practices change. Any updated version will be published at the same policy location with a revised effective date.
